We’ve made some great improvements to some of our consumer fixed broadband plans. We’re giving you bonus data at no extra cost. The best part is that you don’t have to do a thing.

 

As a valued customer, we’ll automatically increase your data allowance so you don’t miss out.

 

This won’t affect your plan term or alter your minimum monthly charge and there’ll be no interruption to your service. The good news is your bonus data has already been applied and is available now to use.

Q1. Why have I received bonus data?

 

It’s our way of saying thank you, and showing you how much we appreciate you being with Telstra. The bonus data will be available every month as long as you stay on your current plan.


Q2. Am I paying extra for this bonus data?

 

No, we’re giving you bonus data free every month and you don’t need to do anything. All your existing discounts, inclusions and current terms and conditions will remain the same.


Q3. If I upgrade to a new plan, will I keep the bonus data?


No, the bonus data is only associated with the plan you’re currently on. If you decide to move to a new plan your new data allowance will be what’s offered with that plan.


Q4. Will I still be able to get my three data top ups each calendar year?


Yes, this is part of our Peace of Mind Commitment Offer for all our customers on our new billing system with a 13-digit account number.


Q5. I received this letter/SMS/email, what does this mean?


This is just to let you know how much bonus data you’ll be getting and the date from which you’ll receive it. You won’t need to do anything else; it’s just for your reference. You’ll continue to enjoy your bonus data as long as you remain on your current plan.

For Small Business customers call 132 000 from 8 am to 7 pm (AEST) Monday to Friday or visit your local Telstra Business Centre.


For Managed customers call 132 253 from 7am to 7pm (AEST) Monday to Friday or call your Telstra Account representative during business hours.
